I can’t believe that the Tampa Baby Expo is in just a few weeks. I’ve been trying to contain my excitement since I bought tickets last month and now that we’re just 19 days away, I can’t hold in my excitement anymore. And yes, I’m counting the days…plus (in case you didn’t notice) I added a countdown to the footer on here too. Seeee  ⇊ ⇊ ⇊

I don’t know if it’s the fact that I love finding new products to try out and learn about or the thought of so many amazing brands under one roof, but I love expos. Back when I worked in marketing for the Naples Daily News, putting our expo events together were some of my favorite things to do. As a journalist, I’ve always loved attending them as well. There’s just so much to learn about and you actually get the chance to talk to brand representatives in person, ask questions, see and test out products. Plus, there’s so much free swag that you get! Yeah, that’s it. I love the swag. I mean who doesn’t love the chance to try out a product before you buy it?

So when I found out about this amazing baby themed expo coming to town, I just couldn’t miss it. Of all the expos I’ve been to, I’ve never attended a baby expo and this one by Baby Bellies and Beyond is supposed to be one of the best ones around. Plus, as a new mamí, you can never have too many pacifiers, bottles, bibs or mini towels – which is basically most of the swag you’re going to end up with at one of these events.

Did I mention that they also have $20,000 in prizes at each event? You can win anything from a 3 month supply of diapers to a top of the line stroller system. I’ve never been lucky in raffles, but hey that doesn’t mean I don’t get excited about the possibility of winning. Fingers crossed!
